Journalism/Communications Roles

FREELANCE JOURNALIST

November 2021 - Present

Researching and writing stories about a wide range of topics including new developments in business and technology, environmental issues, as well as federal and provincial policies. I have written for such publications as Supply Chain Canada, Municipal Monitor and Sheet Metal Works.

COMMUNICATIONS CONSULTANT

April 2021 - Present

In this role with the Quebec Community Groups Network (QCGN), I gained familiarity of and practice writing in Canadian Press style through the production and distribution of a daily newsletter, as well as being charged with handling the QCGN's social media platforms. I am currently working part-time at the QCGN.

JOURNALIST INTERN

October 2020 - April 2021

In this role with Global Green News, I pitched, researched, and wrote stories relating to politics, culture, and events relating to Green Parties in Canada and across the world. I had many notable interviews with politicians from Green Parties, including Thomas Waitz, the co-chair of the European Green Party; Sonia Furstenau, the leader of the Green Party of British Columbia; and Natalie Bennett, the former leader of the Green Party of England and Wales.

CONCORDIA UNIVERSITY

May 2023 - Present

Currently pursuing the Journalism Graduate Diploma Program at Concordia University. The program provides participants with valuable hands-on experience in researching, writing and interviewing. Expected to be completed by April 2024.

BISHOP'S UNIVERSITY

2016 - 2020

I graduated from Bishop's University with a Bachelor's Degree in Modern Languages (French/German) as well as a Minor's Degree in Political Studies. I graduated on the Academic Honour Roll.
